One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Criminal Stud. Jouets Parade ended up behind the leader. Betelgeuse Cherry got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two. When the startcar left the field Preussen Larockma started to galop and lost 10 m.




Starksomfan Pegasos quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




Track Record took the lead after 1000m. Starksomfan Pegasos didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.




Polnareff looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.



Polnareff looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.

Preussen Larockma galopped for 30 m on the homestretch.




Stopping Thought won the race after a spectacular finish.
