One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Salvation. Impressive Ice ended up behind the leader. She Fakes It got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two.

This is the positions after 500m. Criminal Cowboy, Travelling Daffodil, Criminal Siege, Impressive Ice, She Fakes It, Salvation, My Golden Boy, Frauke Larockma.

Criminal Cowboy clinged on to the lead after a 1000m.

Criminal Siege looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m. Criminal Cowboy started to gallop after 1500m and Brian Sears had to struggle to get it back in trotting.

Criminal Siege kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

Frauke Larockma sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
