One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Hey Joe took the lead after a very quick start.

The leader couldn't hold the lead and Focused Movement sprinted to the front. Triple Crown showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping.

Focused Movement clinged on to the lead after a 1000m. Kings Ransom galoped after 1000m and lost 50 m.

Track Record accelerated after 1500m and took the lead.

With only a little left of the race Track Record galoped for 50 m. Evergreen Eden speeded up in the last bend and was first on the homestretch.

Thunder Agent galoped way to long and was disqualified.

London War sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
