The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Åby this day.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Kip sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. Jörgen Sjunnesson wanted a little to much in the start and In Command galoped for 30 m.

Moving Plan saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.

Track Record sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.

In Command saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead.

Guard Of Ottawa suddenly found some strength when the driver removed the earpads and sprinted to the lead.

In Command was disturbed and galopped for 50 m.

Guard Of Ottawa kept the speed the whole finish and won before Kip and Dansar.
