One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

So Lets Begin could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. When the startcar left the field So Lets Begin started to galop and lost 20 m.

Knight Of Sunrise quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.

The leader got disturbed by something and Sweeper took the lead rather easily.

So Lets Begin looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.

driver couldn't keep On Fire to trotting so they were disqualified. So Lets Begin sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

Örjan Kihlström tried a little too much on the homestretch and On Fire started to galopp and lost 50 m. On Fire showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping.

Sweeper made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before So Lets Begin.
