It had been raining for several days at Åby but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Allora Quello Giorno sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. Out In The Fields was to tense at the start and galloped for 40 m.




Out In The Fields saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead. Track Record started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.




Lookastar took the lead after 1000m. Blossoming Duchess didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.



Betelgeuse Cherry took the lead after 1000m. Blossoming Duchess didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.






Betelgeuse Cherry kept the speed the whole finish and won before Out In The Fields and Lookastar.
