It had been raining for several days at Leangen but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Ganymede. Banana Boat ended up behind the leader. Moonlight Starlight got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two. When the startcar left the field Ganymede started to galop and lost 10 m.




L'ultima Curva saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.




Ganymede took the lead after 1000m. Old Arraow didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Ganymede followed by Moonlight Starlight and L'ultima Curva. Lane two Old Arraow followed by Banana Boat and Patrac.



Old Arraow litterally flew through the last bend and was first on the homestretch.






Moonlight Starlight never caught up with Old Arraow who won. Ganymede came third.
