It had been raining for several days at Hoting but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Sydney Girl was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Banana Pancake sprinted to the front.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Banana Pancake followed by Sydney Girl and Linette Crown. Lane two Strong Mustache followed by Le Beau Pascal and Red Horizon.



Banana Pancake sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

Strong Mustache galopped for 20 m on the homestretch.
