One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Grazie Star could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark.




Defender looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Turismo In Svezia couldn't come out from behind the leader, Grazie Star.




Defender accelerated after 1500m and took the lead.




Defender sat safely in the lead after 2000m.



Defender kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






Turismo In Svezia sprinted over the finishline before Defender and Grazie Star.
