Start List
The weather had been good all week and Eskilstuna was in good shape. One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track. Empiress sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. Håkan Eriksson wanted a little to much in the start and Astro Man galoped for 40 m. The field stabalized after the bend and the speed was reduced. No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo. Standings after 1500m . Lane one Running Tropic followed by Walking Knight and Empiress. Lane two The Lonely One followed by Doctor Devil and Dr Taboca. Sergeant Bear started to gallop after 1500m and Ola Samuelsson had to struggle to get it back in trotting. The Lonely One sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch. Liudvikas Bakaou galoped for 60m and was disqualified. Dr Taboca galoped way to long and was disqualified. Winner of todays race was The Lonely One. Empiress came in second. Doctor Devil became third. Results
