One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

The March To War took the lead after a very quick start. When the startcar left the field Thunder Dragon started to galop and lost 50 m.

Roman Candle quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.

Comfortable Scope sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.

Roman Candle saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead. Windy Starshine galloped way to long and was disqualified.

Roman Candle sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.
