The sun was shining on Östersund and it was a perfect day for trotting.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Modest Wish could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




Scarlet Diamond was in fine shape and held the lead.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Rosie La Marc today. It continued in the lead. Modest Wish started to gallop after 1500m and Jan-Olof Johansson had to struggle to get it back in trotting.



Banana Boat looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.

Modest Wish galoped way to long and was disqualified.




Winner of todays race was La Comtesse D'aucy. Banana Boat came in second. Grazie Star became third.
