One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Lady Lexington could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Robert Bergh wanted a little to much in the start and Starstruck galoped for 20 m.




This is the positions after 500m. Stretching Bouquet, Confident Beard, Starstruck, Fenix Crusader, Poincon Express, Lady Lexington, Acrophobia, About Last Night.




Confident Beard took the lead after 1000m. Lady Lexington didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.




Lady Lexington looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.



With only a little left of the race Starstruck galoped for 10 m. With only a little left of the race Sweet Thunder galoped for 30 m. Lady Lexington kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






Confident Beard won. Poincon Express came in second. Lady Lexington caught third place.
