The weather had been good all week and Bergsåker was in good shape.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Vice Director took the lead after a very quick start. Computer galloped way to long and was disqualified.

Sowing Sugar quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. Fiendslayer Paladin Baby was disturbed and galoped 20 m.

Hey Joe took the lead after 1000m. Fluxcharger Baby didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Hey Joe followed by Vice Director and Cinderella. Lane two Fiendslayer Paladin Baby followed by Mr Burbon and Fluxcharger Baby.

Hey Joe kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

Vice Director won the race after a spectacular finish.
