One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Run For It could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Direct Hit suddenly started to galop. Daniel Redén had to struggle to get Direct Hit to tror again and succeded after 30 m. Lonely Wind suddenly started to galop. Johan Wiman had to struggle to get Lonely Wind to tror again and succeded after 40 m.

Fast Box saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead. A bird flew just in front of Run For It who started to galop and lost 50 m.

Lonely Wind sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead. Run For It galloped for 60m and was disqualified.

Lonely Wind was still in the lead after 1500m. Subliminal System galloped way to long and was disqualified.

Lonely Wind didn't even look tired after 2000m and sat safely in the lead. Subliminal System was disturbed and gallopped for 40 m.

With only a little left of the race Rugged Devil galoped for 20 m. Lonely Wind kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

Belmondo Tango won the race after a spectacular finish.
