One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Higgins tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Smiling Pearl that came steaming ahead.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Higgins sprinted to the front. Smiling Pearl galloped for 60m and was disqualified.




Higgins was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead.




I Need Googles saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead.




Higgins seemed to be in top-form this day and took over the lead.



With only a little left of the race Higgins galoped for 10 m. I Need Googles speeded up in the last bend and was first on the homestretch.






Higgins made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before I Need Googles.
