The sun was shining and the birds was singing on Vaggeryd today.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Gentleman Steel tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Lying Grove that came steaming ahead. Dick Sjöberg wanted a little to much in the start and Lying Grove galoped for 10 m. When the startcar left the field Ernani started to galop and lost 50 m.




Sweet Sayonara quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. Gentleman Steel started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified. Samira Merett was disturbed and galoped 40 m.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.

The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Flower galop. Flower lost 40 m.




Lying Grove won. Sweet Sayonara came in second. Le Beau Pascal caught third place.
