Only a few clouds could be spotted on the sky this day. Arvika track was in top-condition.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Yankee Brodda sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. Steel Architecture was to tense at the start and galloped for 40 m. Per Oleg Midtfjeld wanted a little to much in the start and Single Bet galoped for 30 m.

Kenmare quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. Single Bet started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.

Yankee Brodda looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Polished Band couldn't come out from behind the leader, Kenmare.

Kenmare was still in the lead after 1500m.

Kenmare kept the speed up and no one had a chance to take over the lead.

Kenmare looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.

Kenmare didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
