The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Joensuu this day.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Samba Mamba could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




This is the positions after 500m. Singing Brightness, Amazing Twister, Flower Love, Samba Mamba, Lieutenant Action, Silvikko, Full Mag, Loucetius.




Amazing Twister took the lead after 1000m. Samba Mamba didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.




Amazing Twister was still in the lead after 1500m. driver couldn't keep Samba Mamba to trotting so they were disqualified. Silvikko started to gallop after 1500m and Aki Antti-Roiko had to struggle to get it back in trotting.



Amazing Twister sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.






Flower Love sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
