It had been raining for several days at Eskilstuna but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Gallant Baron sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. Carl-Erik Lindblom wanted a little to much in the start and Tweedledum galoped for 50 m.

The leader got disturbed by something and Gallant Baron took the lead rather easily.
