One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Coast To Coast found a gap and took the lead. Dead Bullet followed before Perfect Sunray. Healing Force showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galloping.

Ramos Rocket saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.

Perfect Sunray sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.
