One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Pointing Lilac found a gap and took the lead. Roy followed before Glory Fly. When the startcar left the field Glory Fly started to galop and lost 20 m.

The field stabalized after the bend and the speed was reduced.

Pointing Lilac was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead.

Glory Fly was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead.

Pointing Lilac never caught up with Glory Fly who won. Roy came third.
