One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Stopping Thought could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Opposing Princess sprinted to the front.




The leader got disturbed by something and Tricky Meadow took the lead rather easily.




Well-to-do looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.



Stopping Thought litterally flew through the last bend and was first on the homestretch.






Winner of todays race was Stopping Thought. Well-to-do came in second. Tricky Meadow became third.
