One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Lady Merett. Front Sniper ended up behind the leader. Bene Progetto got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two. Tommy Hanné wanted a little to much in the start and Bene Progetto galoped for 30 m.

Comfortable Scope saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.

Bene Progetto took the lead after 1000m. Lady Merett didn't have a good time being caught on the outside. Essien galoped after 1000m and lost 20 m.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Bene Progetto followed by Lady Merett and Need Something Stronger. Lane two Front Sniper followed by Comfortable Scope and Deserve The Best.

Bene Progetto sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

Bene Progetto kept the speed the whole finish and won before Lady Merett and Front Sniper.
