The sun was shining and the birds was singing on Årjäng today.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Freeloader could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Dead Stone was to tense at the start and galloped for 40 m.




There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.




Freeloader was still in the lead after 1500m.



Freeloader were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.






Makin´ A Mess won. Freeloader came in second. Dead Stone caught third place.
