One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Troubling Lilac was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.




There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark.




Troubling Lilac clinged on to the lead after a 1000m.




Back In Town accelerated after 1500m and took the lead. Pietro Piller Cottrer galloped for 50 m.




Back In Town kept the speed up and no one had a chance to take over the lead.



Back In Town were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.






Try To Compare won the race after a spectacular finish.
