It had been raining for several days at Forus but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Gold Lieutenant was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.




This is the positions after 500m. Gold Crystal Star, Good Looking Stone, Self Contained, Thousand Dreams, Marjons Magpie, Gold Lieutenant, Fast And Furious, Ridgeline Shine. Hulabandula was disturbed and galoped 30 m.




Self Contained sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.




Ridgeline Shine accelerated after 1500m and took the lead. Good Looking Stone galloped for 40 m.




Marjons Magpie took the lead.



Gold Crystal Star was first on the homestretch followed by Marjons Magpie and Fast And Furious.






Gold Crystal Star didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
