One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Highland Laddie tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Red Moon that came steaming ahead.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Highland Laddie sprinted to the front.




Midnight Robber looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Lying Fall couldn't come out from behind the leader, Highland Laddie.



Lying Fall showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping. With only a little left of the race Tripping Lady galoped for 30 m. Red Moon looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Highland Laddie couldn't come out from behind the leader, Midnight Robber.






Red Moon won. Highland Laddie came in second. Midnight Robber caught third place.
