One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Marshmallow tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Materazzi that came steaming ahead.




Materazzi was looking sharp this day and continued in the lead.




Materazzi clinged on to the lead after a 1000m.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Materazzi today. It continued in the lead.




Materazzi didn't even look tired after 2000m and sat safely in the lead.



Materazzi looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






No-one could catch Materazzi today who won before Platinum Crusher and Victory Trot.
