The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Sørlandet this day.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Thats A Trap could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Le Cardinal galloped way to long and was disqualified.




This is the positions after 500m. Stepping Thought, Feeling Lucky, Backbreaker, Radish, In Dreams, Moonlight Cruiser, Thats A Trap, Le Cardinal. Thats A Trap showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping.




Backbreaker looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that In Dreams couldn't come out from behind the leader, Stepping Thought. Moonlight Cruiser galoped after 1000m and lost 20 m.




Stepping Thought was still in the lead after 1500m.



In Dreams litterally flew through the last bend and was first on the homestretch.






Stepping Thought sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
