One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Ask For Permission could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. When the startcar left the field Falling Energy started to galop and lost 40 m.




The field stabalized after the bend and the speed was reduced. Second Period was disturbed and galoped 30 m.




Ask For Permission was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Ask For Permission followed by Crossing Gold and Keep The Peace. Lane two Second Period followed by Falling Energy and Wilthorns Bad Girl.




Ask For Permission sat safely in the lead after 2000m.



driver couldn't keep Wixibixi to trotting so they were disqualified. Ask For Permission kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






Winner of todays race was Second Period. Crossing Gold came in second. Ask For Permission became third.
