Only a few clouds could be spotted on the sky this day. Axevalla track was in top-condition.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Trembling Winter was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.

Naprej Lasten saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.

Whatever Thought took the lead after 1000m. Desert Shield didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.

Desert Shield galloped for 60m and was disqualified. Heartbeat Away took the lead after 1000m. Ravanelli didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.

The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Pick Me galop. Pick Me lost 40 m.

Trembling Winter won. Munich Sun came in second. Heartbeat Away caught third place.
