The sun was shining on Åmål and it was a perfect day for trotting.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Black Illusion was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.

The leader couldn't hold the lead and Zaccaria sprinted to the front.

Odilon sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.

Beeswax Cherry accelerated after 1500m and took the lead.

Quare Hawk put some pressure on the leader and could take over.

Royal Empire litterally flew through the last bend and was first on the homestretch.

Black Illusion never caught up with Royal Empire who won. Quare Hawk came third.
