Only a humble breeze blew over Axevalla this day. The track where in perfect shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Cool Crown sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. Fils De Dieu was to tense at the start and galloped for 30 m.




Amazing Twister saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.




Smiling Wave took the lead after 1000m. Let Me Go didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Smiling Wave today. It continued in the lead.




Smiling Wave sat safely in the lead after 2000m.



Smiling Wave looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






Fils De Dieu won the race after a spectacular finish.
