One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Dead Soldiers Walts. Opposing Tropic ended up behind the leader. Run Away got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two. When the startcar left the field Ramos Rocket started to galop and lost 40 m. Della Onteri suddenly started to galop. Esa Holopainen had to struggle to get Della Onteri to tror again and succeded after 10 m.

This is the positions after 500m. Della Onteri, Ramos Rocket, Walking Play, Galant Hoff, Make It Special, Ancora Un Po, Dead Soldiers Walts, Ikke En Tøddel Sjanse. Opposing Tropic galloped for 60m and was disqualified.

Dead Soldiers Walts took the lead after 1000m. Ikke En Tøddel Sjanse didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Dead Soldiers Walts followed by Ice Dynamit and Make It Special. Lane two Run Away followed by Ancora Un Po and Della Onteri. driver couldn't keep Galant Hoff to trotting so they were disqualified.

Run Away was first on the homestretch followed by Dead Soldiers Walts and Ice Dynamit.

Ikke En Tøddel Sjanse galopped for 20 m on the homestretch.

Dead Soldiers Walts sprinted over the finishline before Run Away and Ice Dynamit.
