The sun was shining on Lycksele and it was a perfect day for trotting.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Stopping Thought tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Waving Sun that came steaming ahead.

This is the positions after 500m. Messi Magpie, Lone Bomb, Starstruck Love, Solbert De Suite, Stopping Thought, Volunteer, Waving Sun, Nothern Cirkus. Sneaky Mind galloped way to long and was disqualified.

Lone Bomb took the lead after 1000m. Starstruck Love didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.

Solbert De Suite accelerated after 1500m and took the lead. Starstruck Love started to gallop after 1500m and Jens Eriksson had to struggle to get it back in trotting. Top Speed Jalpa galloped for 40 m.

Waving Sun took the lead.

Solbert De Suite suddenly found some strength when the driver removed the earpads and sprinted to the lead.

Waving Sun sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
