The weather had been good all week and Rättvik was in good shape.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Shock Wave could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.

Perfect Phantom sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.

Nothing seemed to be able to stop Perfect Phantom today. It continued in the lead.

Perfect Phantom didn't even look tired after 2000m and sat safely in the lead.

Perfect Phantom kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

Shock Wave sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
