It had been raining for several days at Kalmar but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Polished Fist. I'm The Scatman ended up behind the leader. Boardwalk got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two.

Boardwalk quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.

Målløs sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead. Boardwalk suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 40 m.

Polished Fist was disturbed and galopped for 20 m. Målløs sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.

Higgins galoped way to long and was disqualified.

Hard Wired won the race after a spectacular finish.
