It had been raining for several days at Lapua but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Boa Constrictor took the lead after a very quick start.




Mind The Step saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.




Lord Sparrow took the lead after 1000m. Poker Buddy didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.




Poker Buddy looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.



Rocky Trotty J. was first on the homestretch followed by Lord Sparrow and Boa Constrictor.

Poker Buddy galopped for 40 m on the homestretch.




Boa Constrictor sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
