One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Tap In was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.

Elvis Presley America quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. Tap In was disturbed and galoped 40 m. Lyon Trucker started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.

Elvis Presley America clinged on to the lead after a 1000m. Lady Simpson galoped after 1000m and lost 10 m. Frozen Glittering suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 50 m.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Elvis Presley America followed by Cheval Noir and Tap In. Lane two Lyon Trucker followed by Le Beau Pascal and Le Piratage.

Elvis Presley America didn't even look tired after 2000m and sat safely in the lead.

Elvis Presley America kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

Le Beau Pascal sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
