The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Boden this day.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Doctor Devil could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. When the startcar left the field Veni Vidi Vici started to galop and lost 20 m.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Midsummer Lady sprinted to the front. Wandering Diamond started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.




Stifling Rose took the lead after 1000m. Doctor Devil didn't have a good time being caught on the outside. Doctor Devil was disturbed and galoped 20 m.




Doctor Devil looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.




Doctor Devil sat safely in the lead after 2000m. Veni Vidi Vici was disturbed and gallopped for 40 m.



Doctor Devil kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

Leif Eriksson tried a little too much on the homestretch and Veni Vidi Vici started to galopp and lost 40 m.




Rhapsody In Blue made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Royal Empire.
