Start List
It had been raining for several days at Åby but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape. One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track. Smiling Girl could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. When the startcar left the field One Timer started to galop and lost 40 m. Frank Bunter quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo. Smiling Girl saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead. Smiling Girl kept the speed up and no one had a chance to take over the lead. Smiling Girl looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch. Smiling Girl galopped for 30 m on the homestretch. Final standings. 1 Max Crusher, 2 Mrs Robinson, 3 Jasmin Palema. Results
