One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Gascon tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Lying Grove that came steaming ahead.

The field stabalized after the bend and the speed was reduced.

No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.

Korona accelerated after 1500m and took the lead.

Lying Grove speeded up in the last bend and was first on the homestretch.

Gascon won. Lying Grove came in second. Sergeant Puma caught third place.
