One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Wandering Darkness. Baltazar Cockney ended up behind the leader. Brenner Ønske got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two.

This is the positions after 500m. Baltazar Cockney, Thats A Trap, Devils Plaything, Back Down South, Brenner Ønske, Wandering Darkness, Eric Bundy, King August.

Baltazar Cockney was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead.

Eric Bundy saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead.

Sgt Pepper was disturbed and galopped for 40 m. Baltazar Cockney speeded up in the last bend and was first on the homestretch.

Håkan Skoglund tried a little too much on the homestretch and Sgt Pepper started to galopp and lost 40 m.

Brenner Ønske never caught up with Baltazar Cockney who won. Eric Bundy came third.
