It had been raining for several days at Östersund but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Walking Moment could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Special Gina galloped for 60m and was disqualified.

Five Of Spades saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead. A bird flew just in front of Strike One who started to galop and lost 10 m.

No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo. Strike One galoped after 1000m and lost 40 m.

Five Of Spades was still in the lead after 1500m.

Five Of Spades looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.

Thunder Road won the race after a spectacular finish.
