It had been raining for several days at Åby but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Majestic Big Man tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to En Garde that came steaming ahead.




This is the positions after 500m. Syndrome Of Self, Majestic Big Man, Prince Flame, Rolling Forest, Le Piratage, Kosmický, En Garde, Savigny De Cosme. Big Star started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.




Prince Flame sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.




En Garde accelerated after 1500m and took the lead.



With only a little left of the race En Garde galoped for 40 m. Kosmický was first on the homestretch followed by Majestic Big Man and Prince Flame.






Majestic Big Man sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
