One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Flawless Diamond was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.




Donkey Kong Baby saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead. A bird flew just in front of Dani Alves Baby who started to galop and lost 40 m.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Donkey Kong Baby followed by Goofy Necklace and Gold Thunder Speed. Lane two Flawless Diamond followed by Sergeant Ship and Nikodemas Bakaou. Like A Hat started to gallop after 1500m and Juha Länsimäki had to struggle to get it back in trotting.




Donkey Kong Baby was still in the lead after 2000m.



Flawless Diamond suddenly found some strength when the driver removed the earpads and sprinted to the lead.






Final standings. 1 Sergeant Ship, 2 Goofy Necklace, 3 Donkey Kong Baby.
