The sun was shining and the birds was singing on Kalmar today.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Stunning Box was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.




This is the positions after 500m. Lucky Baz, Stunning Box, Bloob Kloob, Greta Bulwark, Red Jewel, Something Else, Viper Nikeo, Cool Cat.




Lucky Baz was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead.




Greta Bulwark accelerated after 1500m and took the lead. Cool Cat started to gallop after 1500m and Klaus Kern had to struggle to get it back in trotting.




Greta Bulwark didn't even look tired after 2000m and sat safely in the lead.



Viper Nikeo was first on the homestretch followed by Greta Bulwark and Something Else.
