The sun was shining and the birds was singing on Åby today.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Disqualify sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. Engel I Skjule suddenly started to galop. Flemming Jensen had to struggle to get Engel I Skjule to tror again and succeded after 50 m.

The field stabalized after the bend and the speed was reduced. Fair Tropic started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified. A bird flew just in front of Calming Frenzy who started to galop and lost 20 m.

Disqualify was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead.

Engel I Skjule accelerated after 1500m and took the lead. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Veuve Clicquot gallopped for 10 m.

Disqualify suddenly found some strength when the driver removed the earpads and sprinted to the lead.

Axel Jacobsen tried a little too much on the homestretch and Fair Tropic started to galopp and lost 30 m.

Disqualify kept the speed the whole finish and won before Engel I Skjule and Calming Frenzy.
