One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Lauvins Crusader tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Le Monde that came steaming ahead.




William Tell saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead. Snow White Hoof started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.




Le Monde sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.




Lauvins Crusader accelerated after 1500m and took the lead. Bobby Gunnar galloped for 40 m.



Le Monde litterally flew through the last bend and was first on the homestretch.






Winner of todays race was Le Monde. Lauvins Crusader came in second. Steel Scout became third.
